Sustainability is important and all collected materials are processed at a state-licensed C&D (construction & demolition) recycling facility. According to the CDRA summary, over 70% of this waste stream is successfully recovered and put to beneficial use, instead of going to the landfill. Baked in Weston
Baked in Weston is an artisanal bakery in Weston specializing in handcrafted sourdough breads, offering a variety of flavors including white, whole wheat, oat porridge, country, rye, chocolate, and walnut cranberry. The breads are made using traditional sourdough fermentation methods, utilizing a natural leaven (starter) composed of water and flour. This process breaks down gluten content, making the bread gluten-friendly, though not suitable for those with celiac disease. This traditional recipe which contains only four ingredients (starter, salt, flour, and water), although fairly plain, produces the complex, pungent flavor of airy texture sourdough that we know and love. Most loaves are vegan, with the exception of the Chocolate Sourdough, which contains chocolate nibs. The vegan option for Chocolate Sourdough is available. Additionally, all sourdough loaves are oil-free except for the Sourdough Sandwich Loaf, which includes cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Baked In Weston also offers 100% wild yeast sourdough bagels, ciabatta rolls and vegan scones. Baked In Weston ensures freshness by baking the bread on the morning of sale and delivering it within a few hours after baking.
